Fisher's Kids Children's Ministry

Mission Statement

To be a family that shares, teaches and loves with the heart of Jesus.

When you bring your little ones to Fisher’s Kids Children’s Ministry, this is what you can expect:

Children are checked in securely at the Welcome Center on the first floor of the Youth/Children’s Building on Sunday mornings, and then gather in the Gymnasium. After Opening Assembly, children are dismissed to their classrooms for an engaging hands-on lesson.

Three year olds through 4th graders take part in an interactive curriculum delivered by enthusiastic and loving teachers. This session includes creative crafts and songs that children really enjoy. Living the Good News is the curriculum used to help connect our kids to Christ.

Fifth graders are guided through a one year Faith Mentoring Program. This class prepares these “tweens” for youth ministry and the challenges facing them in their Christian journey. Facilitated in two settings, our young people will meet: 1) in a large group class; 2) with a one-on-one mentor. Through this special program students will follow the steps to making a commitment to Jesus Christ in preparation for baptism. During this time they will also be actively studying The STORY by Max Lucado to help reinforce their understanding of our faith.

Praising God brings joy to kids' hearts and blesses them with the love of Jesus! This hour is dedicated to learning about God through music, video, skits, and crafts. Three years old through 5th graders learn about worship with a “Godly Play” curriculum designed especially for them through our Kids Own Worship curriculum.
